What’s the proper “Aldeer tipping policy” on tipping a barber that owns the shop? The young girl that normally cuts my hair is moving off and I have to find a new place. I normally tip her very well. About $10.00-$12.00 on a $20.00 haircut because she’s a sweet girl that you can tell hasn’t had many breaks in life. There’s a new barbershop that opened up that I’m wanting to try but don’t want to be a cheapskate, while at the same time don’t want to over tip since the guy owns the place.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I followed a lady from my barbershop when he shut down. Very nice. She stays pretty busy. When the shop closed she moved to a place in Hoover near Best Buy on Lorna. She knows her business.
She's also under priced as far as I'm concerned and I leave her a significant tip each time. Almost as much as she charges for the cut and beard. Consequently I don't have to wait long for an appointment.

Tip for good service and well especially when people actually did a good job or u know they need a little bonus to pick their day up and continue a good work ethic. I do a job not expecting anything extra for doing it but its a pick me up when people do.

The answer is different for everyone. Go with your gut & whatever feels right. You’ll know when the time comes. Haircut might even suck & you’ll regret overthinking it

I haven't paid for a hair cut since 1993  Daggum barber told me I had to pay full price for half-a-head of hair and I left and purchased a pair of clippers lol. High and tights weren't hard, now I just shave it...
