If I had a time machine this ancient human time period is what I’d wanna go back and see…….I’d want to go back to whatever moment it was that we became “human” and see what that looked like…what happened?? …If I understand it right according to the Dunbar Number it was whenever we could tolerate that 56th monkey
I worked w' a guy that wasn't far removed from the Neanderthal bloodline. Swear he looked just like the spear holder from the nose up. F'head, unibrow, nose, tall & stocky, he was a dead ringer

I guess the question I’ve always wondered is…..What suddenly changed that gave our ancient human ancestor the ability to start progressing intellectually that wasn’t capable of happening to any other animal….If we keep moving back in time, we as a specie decline in intelligence and brain capacity…. Where was the point in time that our brains diverged and started getting progressively smarter and what caused it??....Why were WE the only animal that benefited from whatever this event or change might have been?.....To me that would be the moment we became human and what separated us from all of the other animals…..the biting of the apple
I have never understood exactly what Neanderthals are. Are they human or not? Were they the first humans created by God? Skinny can you shed some light or somebody else?
Glad you chimed in James. Would you mind if team Aldeer submitted you for some mildly invasive genetic testing and some fur samples? I’m sure the Guv could probably figure out a way to monetize it and raise enough to fix the blinking envelope problem.

It’s called being created in the image of the Creator. We were never not intellectual. As a matter of fact I’ll argue we were far more intellectual then than now. We didn’t evolve from cave men. That’s the biggest lie perpetrated on intellectuals. Look at the evidence. We’ve always been human.
