The 110 wire welder I used one time worked fine but it was not enough machine to weld what I wanted. It worked ok for thin to very thin metal. 1/8 thickness and thinner. Anything over that it wasn’t enough. I did end up buying the small stick welder that is 110/220. It does a fine job as long as you have a 20amp 110v plug. I always run it on my generator because it has 20amp receptacles on it. And I keep my generator running often that way. I’ve never used it with the 220v plug yet. Hadn’t had a big enough job to need 220v.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I have one at the mountain house. It's the 110v continuous wire feed and it works great. I have welded up to 1/4" metal and it worked really good for that. You have to play around with the settings to get it just right. For most stuff around the house it will work great.

Ive used the stick welder to fix bush hog and several tractor attachments but we use it on 220V.
I believe project farm has a video on the stick welder.

I have the Titanium Stick 225 and it works just fine. I do run it a little hotter, but I haven't had any issues with it.

I have a 110 wire welder from HF and it's been great for little projects around the house. I have never hooked up gas to it and don't even know how to weld. LOL
