Ummm, the gambling is for the fans. Thats the whole thing with the rule. If it was legal for the players to gamble, there would be zero integrity left. I know there are games thrown, points shaved and some of the side bet things that are manipulated by some of the players...but that's just a dirty few (I hope). If all could gamble...the games would be unwatchable! While we're at it, let's allow the refs to gamble on the games they're officiating also. That would really make it interesting.
