The older I get, the more I hate the government. I’m a rule follower but the more I realize the government is a complete overreach. Two examples….seat belts and helmets with motorcycles. Both are good ideas but at no point is it the governments business if I wear a seat belt. If I die or become seriously injured because I don’t have my seat belt on….thats my problem.
That’s all. Just an observation I'm not saying I disagree with you....but the argument is that considering how much our healthcare is government-subsidized, someone dying or becoming seriously injured becomes everyone's problem in terms of healthcare costs. I tend to be in the "You should be free to be as stupid as you want to be" camp (as long as it doesn't directly affect others)
