Since we have become a forum to complain I have a new one. Had x-rays last week and had an appointment at sports med yesterday. It's called slac wrist. Bones separating an arthritis in joints . Made diagram on wall look like mine 5 years ago. Cant wipe my but right handed and cant set a beaver trap. Surgery is pretty extensive. He put a cortisone shot in it to try for now. Getting old aint for sissies.

Throughout this little journey through Purgatory with 89yo Dad, he's consistently told me "Don't get old! I never expected to live this long, or I'd have taken better care of myself." His parents died at 47 and 52...he never expected to be the oldest in his lineage at 89 (next oldest was his cousin who died at 83).

Had shots in my neck in October that were nearly 9,000.00 dollars. I think I am fixing to slow down and enjoy life a little more. I can't be still and hate sitting in the house. I had a price figured up on all my equipment but my wife voted it down. She said I wasn't sitting around here driving her crazy

Insurance has not settled on those shots yet hopefully it is all going to be paid but the 300 I paid that day. I am 67 with part a and b and a plus cross supplement
