I'd have to look back at the paperwork, but I think the one I have was $6200 new from Marengo Ford in June 1977. Pretty base model Custom, only options were 351M V8 and PS/PB. I paid the original owner of it $5500 in 2020, joked that only losing $700 from new purchase price after 43 years was pretty dang good. Pretty much all vintage trucks, and especially 4x4s have skyrocketed since then.
