Not likely as most of us have the good sense to have serial numbers recorded someplace.

The only problem is that the bad LEO has the ability to ruin lives. The bad Walmart cashier might ruin your day. The consequences are too high to tolerate bad LEO'S but the profession still has plenty. A good psych evaluation would virtually eliminate the types not suited for the job but they don't want to spare the expense. The expense of continuing to allow those with little man syndrome and the thug mentality is much higher than the expense of weeding them out on the front end, Imo.
We gave our guys top notch psych evals by one of the top in his field and some still slipped through the cracks. I have no idea how, but they did.

Jawbone your being more concerned about an old man not having serial numbers on his guns and not the fact that nothing is/can be done to punish the thief, is what makes me and you different. But each to his own is what I say.

It’s not what you know but what you can prove…. Guess so

Cops are ALWAYS gonna take the side of a cop, thats why people are losing respect for them. You 100% coreect when you say if they belong to a cop, it would be different. There would besome serious harassment going on then!
