Police dept are nothing more than government tax collectors. They have no interest in solving crimes, serving justice, or protecting the public!
That would be the Sheriff. The sheriff is the one that collects the taxes in the county. You don’t pay your taxes and the sheriff’s office will come after you. It’s a different set of taxes for police departments.
