Caught some piddler riding around on my lease on his motorcyle. I stop him and ask him what he is doing? Oh I am just riding around having a good time. I said this is a private hunting lease, how did you get in? He says off road so and so, the gate is open. (Westervelt killing me with that). I said well as I said, this is a private hunting lease, Westervelt doesn't allow motorcycles or ATV riding, and they will tresspass you. Oh, Westervelt, I do copier work for them. Can I join your club? I go, NOPE! He goes, so you won't take my money? I said NOPE! He goes why not? I said, because you are trespassing, which means you are unethical, and I don't allow unethical people to be in my hunting club. Please get off my lease.
2 posted signs on the gate posts. Tresspassing needs to be re written to have some teeth.
I took pics of him and sent it to my lease manager, he said he was going to ask the IT guys at the office. Hope they do something if they figure out who it is.

Sounds like he was testing the Theory off - how much can I get away with before I get caught ! We have had this happen before - and the next time they came they had 4 riding around our lease.

You know the problem with trespassing on a hunting club? You never know where the members will be and what they will be shooting at. We can shoot Yotes anytime we want.

Trespassing cost in court is less than a lease cost. This is what aggravates me to no end. As far as trespassing goes, when I catch them and call the LEO they have to give them a warning. Next time they are caught they are supposed to get the ticket. Catching them the second time is the hard part. Most times the trespassers are armed-been there and done that.

That's because Alabama cops must actually witness most misdemeanors to do a warrantless arrest. A good cop will show up, ask you if you want them to leave, and if they aren't immediately heading out they get arrested because the cop just witnessed their trespass.

I’m now going to bring up any names because I’m sure a person or two knows someone involved. Dallas county around forty years ago a man was caught poaching by some farm hands. They took his gun and was walking him off the land and he was cussing and said suck by … when they got almost to the gate where the feed area for the cows were. One of the guys said, did y’all hear what he told them calves to do? Well they duct taped him to the power pole that filled the water trough, pulled his pants down then poured soda on his wewe. Guess he got what he asked for!

It's always fun to have a camera set up that piddlers don't know about when they're trespassing and fishing or hunting or whatever.
I have images from this morning of a trespassing piddler.
Permission for one person doesn't mean that person and anyone else he/she wants to bring, says "it's OK, you can go, I have permission" or anything like that. People who think "Party Permission" is OK are full of boolsheet.
Mr. Green Jeans can sort it out since this involved more than trespassing. But the sheriff's department will need to know, too.
