property in Mobile County, both realtors we've been referred too is charging 10 percent! Y'all local fellers give me a shout I'll tell ya who've we spoken with so far, and any suggestions would be Appreciated

6-8% was always usual and customary but it's been a long time since I have been in the game. I will say that everything is negotiable and I would be reluctant to pay 10% unless they have a proven track record

That is high. What little I’ve dealt in the commercial realty world it was 5-6

10% was typical on commercial property in the 30-40 years I was in the game.

Who james ? We trying to sell ours. 6% total. The old shop that is.
But contract went out and we doing it ourselves. Bout to be for sale signs everywhere. 😂

A guy in Florida i believe made the news recently. He used chatgpt to sell his property. And got something like 6 figures more than a realtor had told him i believe. I really wasn't paying much attention, but you could probably search and find it. I would do this before paying 10%

Realtors have become like everyone else asking for tips. If someone will pay it they are gonna keep asking for more.
