They've been encouraging to watch. And they are not wrong. Media has been lying to everyone. Media are socialist/communist leaning entities with no morals or reservations lying, obscuring, burying any story positive to the Capitalist American system of doing things. Our media and all other media are complicit.
It's not all good here. It would be better if certain demographics were encouraged to be elsewhere. And if the media were to reap some of what they've sown.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I wish I thought this sentiment from our European cousins would stick....but I suspect within a few months of the end of the WC, it'll be business as usual. The international media will paint us in the same light they always have, and since there won't be a few people actively posting on various social medias about how great we are, the rest of the world will go back to believing what the "news" tells them.

A gal I worked with years ago was from Montenegro and lived all over Europe. She became a US Citizen I asked about the foreign sentiment. She said folks mostly looked to the US as the beacon on the hill. She said the governments and news were always negative but most knew better. She now lives in Canada and works in the movie industry using CGI programs
