I inherited my father’s old recurves. None of them have strings, I know before he switched to compounds he shot recurve bows for hunting and did some local competitions. I’d love to find someone who knows about 60s-80s era recurve technology and see what I’ve got. I want to outfit at least one and try to learn to use it, and perhaps save at least one for posterity.
Any tips or shops welcome.
One is a browning nomad stalker with 52 AMO written on it.
One is a Stemmler Turk 60” 40#
And one is so covered in my father’s custom paint job I can only make out a serial number and 45# but I think it was his most recently used.
