I bought some new DP's, and a couple won't stay set. They snap right after I set them. Do I need to dremel the claws a little?

First off, were they waxed ? Scrape the dogs if so. Make sure there is no buildup of paint or powder coat in the notch. If they still won’t stay set use a file that will cut on the edge and deepen the notch. Make sure the notch is square and not angled
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
