Anyone any first hand experience with this suppressor? Pros cons?? Seems to be high reviews but I don’t really trust those

I've got 2 of the omega 300 suppressors. Had them 10 years now, and they are still my favorite 30 cal cans. They come with just the direct thread mount now, allowing silencerco to drop the price as opposed to coming with the direct thread mount, the qd asr mount and a muzzle device. You can still use them with any hub compatible qd devices you want, just have to purchase separately. I don't really have anything negative to say about them. I usually don't use the anchor brake, never seemed to make a difference to me, but some people swear by it. Maybe because I run the 3 port asr muzzle brake as the qd muzzle device. Lots of newer ones out there, but very few that are lighter and shorter, and those that are generally are considerably more expensive. I will add that I don't have much experience with them on semi-auto guns, just bolt actions, so don't know how well they do with blowback on gas guns.
If bolt action hunting rifles are what you are looking to suppress, I don't think you could go wrong with the omega. I've got over a dozen cans now, and wouldn't hesitate to buy an omega 300 if I had a need for another 30 cal can. Silencerco customer service and warranty is top notch as well. Never had any problems, but when I was just getting into the suppressor game any time I called they were always very helpful.

Thank you for the reply. It will be going on a bolt gun. The weight and length are what drew my attention then saw where it was 400$ cheaper on average than comparable options.

It’s the Toyota Camry of .30 suppressors. I’d buy the DT now. A little heavy, a little long, but excellent .30 can. Cannot go wrong with the Omega300 IMO

My Omega 300 is my dedicated can to my Bergara Ridge SP 308 and I love it, the DT makes it shorter and lighter, I took the brake end cap off of mine and replaced it with a flat end cap to cut down length as well.

Looks like I’ll be ordering one. I was hesitant with older technology but I live by if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Thanks fellas!

It's the #1 selling can in the country for a reason. It just works.

Not a thing wrong with the Omega but if it is going to be on a dedicated bolt gun host, I would look at the TBAC Ultras

I’ll give them a look. Will definitely be on a dedicated bolt gun.
