That would actually be good news. 😃
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Absolutely Type 1 is an unfortunate auto immune disease and man I hate it for you guys. The hard part to say to friends and family is that Type 2 diabetes is something you do to yourself. Poor diet discipline over years has forced insulin resistance and big pharma loves you for it.
You can totally reverse it if you can radicalize yourself to the psychological and emotional connection to food you grew up with. Start thinking of a meal as a necessary burden like stopping at the gas station in your truck. I don’t cook or eat for pleasure, ever. You can live very healthy on sardines, eggs, meat, nuts, vitamin supplements and psyllium husk fiber if you don’t like salads without dressing. Eat once a day or maybe sometimes not at all for a day or two fast. Give it a year and you’ll get your insulin control back and be off all meds.
It’s ok if that trade off isn’t worth it to you. You’ll be the weird guy in your friend group but you’ll likely outlive all of them.

My dr. said I shouldn't have got it judging by weight etc. Both parents and brother all have the type 2. Guess it was just hereditary
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Guess it was just hereditary Type 2 as a condition is not hereditary but certainly it’s possible that higher susceptibility to developing the condition could be hereditary. And skinny people can still have a fatty liver and/or visceral fat.

Committing to a continuous glucose monitor is life changing as well. You’ll learn a lot about how exercise, sleep and foods affect you individually. Just a silly example but Copenhagen spikes me but nicotine pouches do not.

If you like your feet and lower legs you need to be serious or you will start having sores and circulation problems in the extremities and eventually amputations, I see it daily treating patients.
Diabetes is a silent killer and by the time many get serious they are already in a bad way and having major health and medical problems they are easily avoided with a little vigilance The part about losing toes and feet scares the crap out of me. I’m definitely devoted to eating healthy and exercising from this point on. My fasting blood sugar was 88 this morning, and my weight was 202. I’m definitely gonna try to beat it, Robinhedd

I'm type 2 and do Jardiance and Ozempic and was doing Metformin. My kidney function dropped to 35% so got off Metformin and take Berberbine twice a day. Metformin is hard on the kidneys. From what I've researched 2 Berberine pills =2 Metformin pills "How Metformin Interacts With Your Kidneys The Filtration Process: Your kidneys do not get damaged by filtering metformin, but they must function well enough to clear it out of your system. The Risk: If your kidneys are compromised, metformin can accumulate in the blood. This increases the risk of lactic acidosis, a serious buildup of lactic acid in the bloodstream".
