Today is the day. The Weather Prediction Center has issued a rare Level 4 of 4 High Risk for excessive rainfall flash flooding over Southwest Alabama, with a Level 3 Moderate Risk covering the rest of South Alabama and a Slight Risk over the rest of the state. The newest model data is pointing to 10 to 15 inches of rain in spots across Southwest Alabama, with widespread 4 to 8 inch totals everywhere south.
