Don’t mess around with it. I can tell you that a lot of folks lose their vision from diabetes. I keep the local retina specialist busy with at least 2-3 referrals a week for edema and bleeding in the retina directly caused by diabetes. Diabetic retinopathy is not something you want. The treatment is shooting lasers in the eye and/or giving you shots in the eyeball every 2-4 months.
