I bridged a creek with an old 48’ flatbed body (approx 36’ true span bank to bank). How much max weight would yall put across that? I’m betting Kbush has pushed that envelope a time or two.

At the steel plant I worked at for 27 years. We put between 42k-45k on 18whl trailers daily for pickup. If that helps. Most ours were 52ftrs though.

Love a good hunting story, love my family and friends. Some people you can't, but acted like do.

We haven’t logged across any of ours that I recall, but I know of at least 2 90’ railcars and a truck body that’s decked with 2x4 metal tube that totes a 75+ HP cabbed JD regularly. Last fall the same tractor plus a 6’ 3pt no till drill used it. May have also taken a JD 83G excavator across the 90’. This bridge has a 90’ carbon about a 70’ span, definitely 60+.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I carried 48k Steel Coils on my aluminum 48'er many miles so I would think you'd be safe with just about anything under 45k. Most 48'-53' steel / aluminum Flat beds Trailers are rated to 50k
