It absolutely was. I drove that truck twice to Wisconsin and 08 it cost more. I wanna say $700 or so in fuel.
It may have been early 08 when gas prices started climbing.
My phone quit ringing and I was price shopped heavily. Something I’d never experienced. My usual clients were going with smaller pkgs than normal. Some were selling extra real estate especially gulf coast condos.
Glenn Beck was on CNN and along with Peter Schiff were going nuts over all the housing bubble and loans.
