Looks like Social Security is going tits up by 2032, hopefully it’ll happen sooner than that and that dreadful program will be history.
Signed a millennial paying into a trash program I’ll likely never see a penny from. Being 69 years old and retired, I'll return the sentiment. I hope ALL your investments go belly up and you lose every F'n penny that you invest. X2... x3 That may be the most selfish post in the history of aldeer . I understand you not wanting to pay into it I did not either. But I did for 50 years and know its time to get some back. If you think it is going belly up you are wrong. Can you even think of the repercussions financially and politically X100. I can’t believe you actually said something like that. I paid in for almost 50 years, and I, like most that have, expect to get some of my money back. We didn’t want to pay into it but were forced to. I don’t have a pension to fall back on as the companies I worked for my entire career didn’t offer any. Heck I was only able to contribute to a 401k for 10 years because none were offered to us by the companies. I had my own IRA but that was it. I’m sure your parents, family members or friends that are receiving social security would have a thing or to to tell you about your wishing it would go down.
