Go north just a little ways to Calabash. Several great seafood restaurants to choose from.
This is the right answer. Only thing in Myrtle I ever found that was decent was Angus Steakhouse. They did have a good steak but I was there in the off-season (work related trip as well). The Oyster Rock in Calabash is worth the drive.
