I’ve heard one planned in the north Delta is on a former ag field with a couple of irrigation wells on it and will actually use less water than irrigating the field did, but again the water used is mostly evaporated and what’s left isn’t useable, instead of going back into the aquifer to use again.



Everybody worried about oil. The aquafers out west are already going dry, from big ag irrigation. Now well pull water from the rivers to cool data centers, then we'll say cow farts are causing glibal warming. Just another high light of human stupidity
