I’m reading the US is striking Iran but not say how or what I’m not sure what a self defense strikes are The news reporting has gone into full blown Ukraine/Russia mode. We dont know anything correct anymore. Now its shifted into the long slog of half-assed reporting for several years mode. Same play book as Iraq and Afghanistan.

A lot of different hits on Iran, mixed reports about what has been hit except its primarily military sites.
Iran is shooting at US bases in the region.

Happened last night and he’s just been informed? There was a lot of chatter about it last night. CENTCOM at first said it was an accident, not a shoot down. Now its a shoot-down. The cool thing about this event is that the crew survived and they were rescued with a water drone. I saw that one too, but the initial reports said it was that model in the picture. Either way, drone rescue boats are a great idea. They sure would be handy at the beach.
