This area I want to kill is a fence, property line border. There is a ditch that only has water after extended wet times. The ditch runs perpendicular to the fence so you are looking at a T shaped area. One side of the ditch is higher ground and we can keep it cut with no issues. The other side of the ditch is the problem area where the low area holds water and grows every type of vegetation you can think of. I have a couple of 50+ year old Silver Maples that I don’t care if they died. When a limb falls or breaks it really makes a mess to clean up. A tornado hit this spot 2 years ago and really made a mess. I’m just trying to get the place cleaned up.

I plan to start spraying this area as soon as the rain stops. I have fixed a sprayer for my ATV and plan on driving over and pushing down all the small trees I can and spray as I go. For the larger ones I will spray with a wand attached to the sprayer. All the other places on this farm are clean and are maintained the way my Daddy asked me to. It’s a lot of work keeping a place clean! Thanks so much for all the replies.
