If they didn't tell you a Restraining Order is generally written so it covers all communication. It might take a while to get him served though as it will have to go to the Sheriff down there. First off, of course is to make sure your mom is on board with an order. It would look very bad for you to want it and her to waffle about it. Good luck in a tough situation. Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
