Umps blew it twice on that call. But were determined to call him out nevertheless. Glad it did not affect the outcome. Auburn generally needs to beat the officials too regardless of the sport.

I was planning on going to the game Saturday in Auburn until I looked at ticket prices. Good grief they are high And probably even higher on the secondary market. Two teams from the same conference so close to each other and they could easily sell double the stadium capacity.

Its amazing that Auburn has what could be the best college baseball stadium in the country. When i was at Auburn, the baseball field had metal bleachers for stands. My high school had a better field.

I was there early 90s - it was dog crap - it kind of shocked me. Chain link fence everywhere and not many bleachers. You nailed it - freakin high-school field. My roommates played on baseball team. We never talked about dump of a field - but thats what it was

Just got home from Auburn. Took my two oldest to the game and had a blast. It was a great game and Plainsman Park was rocking. It's fun to get a win in a rowdy road environment like that. The homerun that Uttermark hit was the highest homerun I've ever seen in person. It was wild. Rebs are 1 win away!

The announcers kept talking about it having a launch angle in the high 40s and the highest ever recorded was 49 degrees in MLB.

Hanging breaking ball. Starting LB swinging. 113mph and 43deg launch. That’s a pop up most of the time but that one cleared everything!
