Maybe so, and it's the military pushing this trend which is a good thing IMO.

But I'm a handloader and this just doesn't appeal to me and it hasn't passed the smell test for me... yet .

I get what you’re saying cause it’s ingrained in reloaders that pressure is the boogeyman not to be taken lightly

I’m kinda looking at this as it’s new step up and the possibilities

The newer steel cases are lighter and by all accounts stronger
The cartridge takes the pressure more than brass cases
However if I recall the military has ramped up their rifles to handle the pressure. I know if I go down that road I’ll have a LMT Enhanced BCG or something similar
