Need to be regulated. It has gotten to the point that the spying and data sharing is insane.
Just had someone who wants to use our facility for a meeting send us a payment on bill.com. We said send us a check. They send us a bill.com notice in email. We show up in it because we use Quickbooks. We tell the people to send us a check, they send it thru bill.com, and the only way to get your $ is giving them your banking info. No thanks. I cancelled the account and they will send me a check. I guess when these people go to pay us the balance, they will not see us in there. Of course they wanted me to keep the account active and just hide us. Why?
Quickbooks hounds me to sign up for their newest program, so they can bill me $1,500 a year. They really push me to do the online version, so they can control my data, and sift through it and sell it. You cannot turn their pop up messages off, and they want me to log into Intuit.com every 7 days. Intuit does the same thing with Turbo tax. Finding a version to buy and install locally isn't simple from their website, and I usually just go to Amazon to buy it. I don't want some company having sole control over my data.
Your phone spies on you, your TV, new cars, and they all collect your data and sell it.

I think they are doing something with one in Columbiana, I went over from the co-op to the hunting club, and they have knocked down some old plant there and have a bunch of digi power generation plants sitting there in a fenced lot and they are doing foundation work.

Well, the politicians buy that data and send me spam emails and unsolicited texts and calls. Do you really think they'll do anything about it?

The Indians or Persians or whoever have my number and call several times a day about Amy Medicaid benefits. I carry on a conversation with them and ask them silly questions until they wise up. I hate these people. They are scammers and I ask them why they are scamming people. That will usually finish the call.

And; it does not slow them down. And, blocking the numbers they call in from does not help.
