I love this and laugh every time this story resurfaces. My personal connection to it was we were on a family vacation and we went through Granby two days after this happened. Everything was still sitting as is and it was a site to see.
we made several passes and pulled over in a couple of areas. I don’t guess any of us had camera phones or a regular camera around at that time so unfortunately I don’t have any first hand pictures…. Dude went out in style and with a sense of satisfaction!
