I’ve never understood why gold is valuable. It’s a good conductor but most of it ain’t conducting anything. I think it’s kind of ugly and the more jewelry you wear the more ridiculous it looks. Its the Egyptians and Babylonians fault.

Whenever Trump does something stupid they come out in droves saying but at least its not Kamala. All that does is make it look like they approve of Trump's stupid behavior.
We know that there will not be a proper audit of Fort Knox and that Trump is just blowing smoke up folks asses. But apparently thats ok because at least we dont have Kamala. Nixon took us off the gold standard probably because the gold was already vanished out of the vaults anyway and that is why there has not been a full audit since Eisenhower.

Price of oil is going back up, +2% on weekend markets. Thats another issue all together. On another note the SPR drawdowns have lowered the price of gas a little bit. That will only last a little while longer.

Brent crude oil futures fell about 2% to $91.2 per barrel on Friday, the lowest in roughly six weeks, putting them on track for a 17% decline in May, the most since 2020. yup the oil price fell on news headlines and SPR release last week. The price on the weekend futures markets since the close on Friday are showing a 2% increase erasing most of that headline driven price action. When the global markets open tonight it will show an increase.

Fort Knox is home of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division: A deployable, heavy armor brigade. So there’s a reason why gold is kept there. FAFO with the big red 1.

A lot of hypothetical stuff in here. So, imagine there was a parallel time dimension. Trump is elected POTUS in one and Horizontal Harris is elected POTUS in the other. Then imagine there's a window between the 2 dimensions that we can take a look through every 6 months. I'm staying over here and not crawling through that window.
