Hell, we had $500. bills up until a few years ago.

Yup, those were mostly for bank to bank transfers. The $100 bill was created as the max regular denomination to prevent money laundering. The idea was that large money laundering would be difficult if people had to carry around suitcases of cash to sneak it around. So people figured out how to tote large suitcases of cash around and did it anyway.

Blowing up smuggling boats has been done for a long time with whatever tools were available. The Spanish and British did it with cannons.
As soon as governments got useful enough airplanes they have been doing it.

That’s a good thing that any Republican would have done
How does it make you feel when Trump says yesterday that he doesn’t care about the midterms?
At this point I’m about to believe he’s trying to get a Democrat majority. Nothing else explains his actions other than dementia

I agree and feel the same way.

Ummm No. That honor would be split between Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Barack could've held his entire net worth in $1 bills in a single shoebox the day that he took office. Four short years later he was worth $40 million. He and his boyfriend Michael now have a combined net worth of close to $150 million. Not bad for a couple community organizers. Joe Biden and the Biden family speak for themselves. Joe, Jill, Hunter, and Joe's brother probably have a combined IQ of around 100. The fact that they are not living on welfare is a testament to how much they grifted and flat out stole.

What the Biden's and the previous did when they were in office is bad. Trump is just doing the same as them by taking advantage of the powers of the office. But lets deflect back to the past because its not as irritating as today.

Somali's in Minnesota were taking it through customs and out of the country in suitcases loaded with $100, $50 and $20 bills, to the tune of $1-$4 million at a time (100's of trips) and when caught by TSA, were told to go right ahead and enjoy your flight. It would appear that carrying suitcases stuffed full of cash around without sneaking is the way to do it.

Yup. If a cop pulls you over and you have $5000 in Franklin notes, he's gonna get search your car and your money will get confiscated. TSA is happy to let you roll on with a million stuffed in suitcases because there are cameras all over the place.

Explain to me, exactly how Trump is grifting. Give some specific examples where Trump made personal money in a non business related transaction. The difference is that the man actually does have 100's of legitimate businesses. The other's mentioned above had and have zero legitimate businesses to generate that kind of wealth, or any wealth period. I'm sure that Trump gets sweetheart deals because of the power he wields but at least the deals he's involved with seem to actually be business related. Is it right, that anyone get any type of deal that the regular US citizens cannot? No. Is almost every sitting US Congressman and Senator doing the exact same thing that the Bidens were doing and getting cash for no legitimate business purpose other than the position they hold, and being able to actively trade on insider info with zero regulation? Absolutely. You need to just get over it Skinny. It's the world that we live in because we, as a country, have allowed corruption to become a sport and firmly entrenched throughout all levels of govt. at both the federal and state levels. Just like after hours trading being available to only the largest brokerage houses, trading platforms, and equity firms. When the exchanges are closed, there should be zero trading opportunity for anyone, but that is not the case. Speculators that cannot take physical delivery of any type of commodity should not be allowed to take positions in, or trade, in that commodity, period. Want to know why oil and gas prices are up? There's your answer. Everything in the current system is rigged from top to bottom.

What does having cameras all over the place have to do with actively letting them remove that amount of cash from the country, on direct flights to foreign countries, without verifying the nature of the cash and whether it was derived/obtained from legal or illegal operations.

🚨 JUST IN: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent CONFIRMS the $250 bill with President Trump's face on it is ALREADY in the works

"There is proposed legislation in front of the House, in front of the Senate to change the [law] so that a living person, Donald J. Trump, could be on a $250 bill."

"At Treasury, we prepare things in advance. So we have prepared in advance that if the legislation is passed, but we will stick to the law."

Here you go GroundHawg.
Link below is an interview with one of the Minn TSA agents that blew the whistle on it.

https://docs.house.gov/meetings/JU/JU08/20260121/118871/HHRG-119-JU08-20260121-SD018.pdf

Here's a copy and paste of another from MSN for those on here that trust the more liberal sources.

Foreign ATM? Somali cash exodus from Minneapolis exponentially larger than other major US airports msn.com/en-us/money/economy/foreign-atm-somali-cash-exodus-from-minneapolis-exponentially-larger-than-other-major-usairports/ar-AA1TMJLb

John Solomon January 21, 2026 Foreign ATM? Somali cash exodus from Minneapolis exponentially larger than other major US airports

The cash moved overseas in luggage by Somali couriers from the Minneapolis airport was 10 to 100 times larger than the total foreign exodus of money at other larger American airports the last two years, officials tell Just the News. Homeland Security Department officials said the statistics they have gathered in recent weeks show the movement of cash out of Minnesota was substantially abnormal and should have raised red flags during the Biden administration, long before the Trump administration began investigating it as part of a major fraud scheme that stole billions from taxpayers in the state. Some of the cash moved to Amsterdam and then to Dubai, a route that has garnered concern in recent days by intelligence agencies and federal criminal investigators, officials said. "It was like a cash ATM draining American dollars and moving them overseas, and nobody in the Biden administration seemed to think anything of it," one official with direct knowledge told Just the News, speaking on condition of anonymity. "These couriers were openly flaunting what they've doing by legally declaring the cash they were taking out." Minneapolis travelers alone had $342.37 million in their luggage in 2024 and $349.4 million in 2025, and the totals nationwide are likely to be much higher, the officials told Just the News. The flow of the Somali couriers' cash out of Minneapolis was 99 percent larger than the foreign cash detected or declared in 2025 moving in luggage from the airports in Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta or John F. Kennedy International in New York City, the officials said. And it was 90% larger than the amounts that left Seattle, a major hub for Asian travelers. Similarly, in 2024, the total currency discovered over $10,000 traveling internationally out of Atlanta and JFK was less than 1% of the currency discovered at Minneapolis. And the total in Dallas-Fort Worth in 2024 was 3% of the Minneapolis sums, while Seattle was just 6%, officials said. Though all were legally declared according to U.S. Customs rules, the bundles of cash in luggage in Minneapolis – some as much as $1-$3 million in a single trip – raised regular suspicions among TSA agents. 1/2The mountain of dollars leaving the country is now being investigated by the Homeland Security Investigations unit as part of a broader probe into a multibillion-dollar fraud scheme centered around the state's Somali immigrant community, where dozens have been charged with or convicted of federal crimes. Rep. Jeff Crank, R-Colo., told the Just the News, No Noise television show on Tuesday night that he believes the current Minnesota fraud scandal will embolden Congress to make changes to the law to give federal authorities more power to investigate the exodus of U.S. money to foreign countries, especially from illegal aliens. "We have to do it. It's embarrassing that Congress hasn't done this before," Crank said. "These are financial controls that any company would have on corporate money. Any good company would have it. The board of directors would fire them if they didn't. I don't know why in the world we wouldn't have those kinds of controls."

Google Search "somali's taking suitcases of cash through airport security". It'll pull up hundreds of articles and TV reporting about it. You can read about it until you get tired of it.
