Getting conflicting info online. I understand per acre broadcast rates but I’ll be using a 4 gal backpack sprayer to walk and release pasture planted loblolly rows, figuring a 3 to 4 foot band on average. Oustar may be preferred but I already have Arsenal AC so that’s what I’ll use.
What is a solid but safe ounce per gallon mix rate? Surfactant or no?

according to the label it’s 12-20oz/ac for release treatment for pines i spray lawns and i get 10-12,000sq ft out of a 4 gal backpack ( no hand waving, just hold the tip abt knee-mid thigh high and walk, 3.5-4’ swath) to get the most even application, order a teejet fan tip nozzle, the white 8008 nozzle specifically. 16oz/ac would be 4 oz/ backpack or 1 oz/gal https://a.co/d/09zTlJxe** purely an explanation on application rate breakdown and how to get it with a backpack, not a recommendation for that rate ***

1 oz per gallon is just under a 1% solution and is not excessive.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

If you’re spot spraying or band spraying I wouldn’t exceed 1 oz per gallon. Use alligare 90 with Arsenal AC.
