I am looking at getting a PTO driven, 3pt attached, chipper for my 55 HP tractor to deal with a bunch of scrub trees (2-4" in diameter) and looking for recommendations on a solid brand. Looked at a the Titan (https://palletforks.com/products/3-point-wood-chipper-attachments?variant=47327921799472) that is on sale and seems like solid unit.

Any recommendations?

Would be a lot less work to do either of the following
Hand feeding that thing sounds like a burden

Take the $3,000 you’ll spend on that chipper and pay a forestry mulcher to mow everything down and then just maintain it with a Bush Hog.
Or
Stack the brush and burn it.

I have a Wallenstein chipper that’s rated for 6”. Looks like the titan is a copy of that design. Works good.

Mechmaxx makes a chipper that is in the 2k range and handles 4”. I haven’t watched many videos on it but their stump grinder and their ditch/bank flail mower both seem to have a lot of positive coverage on YouTube. They had a thing going where you could get the stump grinder and the wood chipper for $3k but since you have a larger HP tractor you could probably get the 6”.
