Good show, but everything was to clean to depict real life in 1870. I get what your saying though as far as television shows go.
I hear what you are saying, but if I'm not mistaken the whole show is based on the actual diaries of Laura Ingalls Wilder, so at least it was all based on true stores as told by the girl herself.
I liked Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons. Both based on real life events.
