It doesn’t matter who the democratic nominee is unless it’s someone absurd. They will win. With Trumps approval rating, and the fact he will hand select who wins the Republican primary, the country will vote to ‘move on’. The lower his approval ratings, the more emboldened the DNC will be to push someone really left win since they can be assured of a win. I have a pretty pessimistic outlook on the next 6 years of our country.

I'm saying the DNC learned from the last go around they can't just put any absurd warm body in there from the last go around, they have to calculate bettter. My personal speculation is that almost anyone semi-reasonable (in the dumb public's mind) will win for them this time around. The question is how emboldened they are to put someone truly outright left wing as opposed to someone disguised as a moderate. I was trying to say the more and more unpopular Trump gets, the more emboldened they will become to put an outright leftist winning their primary. Especially since Trump will presumably hand pick someone on his own wavelength that the general public would find unpalatable in the scenario I predict where Trump continues to maintain very lower favorability ratings.
Just my opinion. Probably stinks like everyone else's.
