Have a really close friend that's a warden in Cherokee County. He's been pushing for a bear season for years. Half his calls are bear related. Not sure if he covers Cleburne too but the bears are there too. Know some guys there that have pictures regularly and have seen sign on my small tract out there. A limited draw would be a good option for those areas in north AL. Allow baiting or use of dogs but one bear per tag. Just knock ‘em back a bit before they become real problems. For south AL, y’all seem to have em worse. Maybe just let them be a one per year bag limit down there.
