So sorry, I've got two Dachshunds and the oldest is chocolate very similar to yours. Just to be clear, your two got in a scrap and one fatally bit the other? My old one gets irritated at the younger one at times and tells her so but I can't imagine that happening. So sorry again.

I'm sorry that you are having to suffer this loss. Our dogs set no conditions for their love. It's not fair that they don't outlive us. I've lost 3 dachshunds and know this pain all too well.

Man, I hate to hear about your pup. Such a shame. I also understand well how you feel. We lost one of the very best dogs I've ever had back in February. We loved that pup and I still think of him every day.
