How much has fertilizer gone up already? I bought 13-13-13 last fall for $15.75 a bag. Today at Lowes it is over $20 a bag.
What are you seeing?

You’ll need to go someplace besides Lowe’s to get a good price. They’re pricing it for someone who needs two bags, not 20 or 50.

I’m having trouble sourcing K-mag or something similar like 0-0-22. My coop won’t order it. Anyone know of availability in south Alabama?

Would potash 0-0-60 not work in your situation?

The Kmag or 0-0-22 also has magnesium and sulfur. I was trying to avoid tons and tons of lime to address my magnesium deficiency as my PH is good, just very low in Mg and K. I’m no expert, I loaded my samples in to AI and told it I didn’t want to use lime. Kmag or the equivalent is what it suggested.

I used a product called SuperRainbow 10-10-10 last year. Got it from the co-op in Frisco City. Has a good mix of micronutrients like boron, manganese (no copper though) sulfur etc. I believe there are other formulations available from that company but the triple 10 was right for me at the time.

Mine as well. I like how this time of year they have small bags of a variety of seeds, so you don't have to buy in 50 pound quantities. Their prices are always fair.

Try calling GreenPoint Ag in Grand Bay or Loxley. One of them might have it. Most stores don’t keep it in 50lb bags. It is a great product.
