I badly wanna do one of those Viking River cruises on the Rhine River in Germany. I hear them advertise on the radio “no children and no casinos” and that appeals to me. Probably very few misbehaving ghetto residents either Have you priced one out? I have and they are too rich for my blood. Of course, you are going to pay more for better service and fewer passengers, but I would love it. They also have some ocean going boats that do the Mediterranean or the one I want which is around England, Scotland, and Ireland. I think one of those trips even does Normandy, which I would love to see.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I always thought I would hate cruises because I generally don’t like crowds but then I went on one lol. We have some Alaska, Panama Canal and Carribean, all 10 plus days and all were great fun. In October we are doing 30 days in the South Pacific and end up in Australia and can’t wait. Plane ride homes gonna be a bitch though

RC utopia of seas was nice. Never had a bad experience the entire time. Easiest and most relaxing vacation I’ve ever been on.

Knock on wood but we’ve never had a problem with RC. Going in 2 weeks on Jewell of the Seas. It’s one of the oldest and smallest. We had to change dates last minute and was lucky they let us do it

You will never see me on one of those floating petri dishes. I say the exact same thing! One and done for me. It’s like a damn prison boat. They tell you when to eat, when to get off, when to get on. If you decide it isn’t for you, tough. You’re there until you get back. You can’t call and change flight arrangements. You can’t walk out to your car and leave. You’ll NEVER catch me on another cruise, ever.
If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain

I absolutely hated it. But. I don’t drink or party so pretty boring. I know my wife told me to not look this and that way a bunch of times. Ate like kings though. Got off in one of the Bahamas and after getting asked 25 times for something turned around and got back on the ship. Again. I’m a party pooper. So. Apparently cruises ain’t for me. They had a couple good shows. The water show at night was phenomenal.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....

In October we are doing 30 days in the South Pacific and end up in Australia and can’t wait. Plane ride homes gonna be a bitch though Hopefully you'll have decent layovers on the flight home. Once upon a time I flew 3 times a year to and from Guam for 3 years. I thought I didn't like the Narita, Hawaii and LA layovers. I just wanted to get home. Somehow I found a Northwest flight that was nonstop from Narita to Chicago. I believe it was 15 hours on a fully loaded 747. I believe the last 10 hours were the worst of my entire life. I was ready to ask for a parachute. Oh yeah, NO cruises for me either. I like to be the captain of the vessel that I'm on or at least be able to get off if I want.
