The big concern from the "analysts" is that with reduced gas prices it will increase consumption and bring about shortages, thus further increasing prices over the tax break. I dont see that happening when every other product we need is also expensive.

I dont see that happening when every other product we need is also expensive. I don't think the higher prices caused any significant decrease in demand to begin with. People still have to go to places they were going before and, at least in my circles, everyone's still doing the same things they were doing before, they're just paying more to do it. So I don't think people will be buying anymore gas than they already are
