100% Deet is pretty hard on the shin. Good luck ! Years ago I went way down in this holler to an old cypress pond fishing. Bugs were awful there. I coated myself down in that stuff, and it seemed to work well. On the way home driving, I leaned my leg against the plastic door panel of my Tahoe. Melted the plastic and my leg stuck to it. Can't be good for you, but neither is malaria or tick disease.
