Tubbs is doing very similar and we are going to make him governor This is how you know the elections are rigged. When you know whos gonna win, and tubbs will win, before they even start campaigning, its rigged! Yep, every republican who had a chance dropped out months ago. That didn't make sense, and people should wake up l. Alabama is very similar to liberal states. They know who will win because the state Alaways votes for the party. Then they eliminate every candidate who they deem threat. Kay Ivey won because we were given no choice. Well I'm not voting for their chosen one.

Folks seem to forget that Alabama was the most Democrat state in the country until the Bill Baxley & Charlie Graddick Democrat party primary fiasco ended up getting Guy Hunt a Republican elected. Then steadily, the Democrats jumped ship over the Republican party but are still the same corrupt bunch of Yellow Dog Democrats that they always were from before.

Yesterday's democrat is today's republican. They will call themselves whatever it takes to get elected.

Guy Hunt. đ. Had an Uncle who worked in his administration. Said he was the dumbest human he had ever met Guy Hunt was Baptist preacher who was running as a Republican with virtually zero chance of winning until Baxley and Graddick went overboard on the ugly campaign. He was supposed to be the obligatory place holder. That campaign in the Dem primary got so ugly and the Democrat party got so fractured and divided the voters basically said they had enough. The people elected a Republican Governor in Alabama for the first time in 100+ years. After Guy Hunt became governor, the Dems pretty much did everything they could to set him up for failure and eventually caught him on a technicality and put him in jail. Poor fellar didn't stand a chance in that pit full of vipers and criminals.

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
I should have posted this earlier. This is really the only thing that will fix it

I've never believed Trump was thrifty with a budget. As a businessman, he was the type that was always borrowing more money to fund his next big idea. When he borrowed an enormous amount of money to create the Trump Taj Majal casino it was doomed from the start. It required a million dollars in daily revenue just to service the debt, an amount no casino had ever reached at that time. It wasn't long before the casino went kaput and Trump negotiated a deal with the banks to save his personal wealth. He was in so deep to multiple banks it would have created chaos for them and they essentially deemed him too big to fail. you are coming around now. glad u are waking up because he's in the process of bankrupting the country now.

Probably heard that verse at more revival prayer meetings than any verse in the Bible. Before somebody strokes out I was just kidding.

But I did use the King James Version, so that should balance out the Jewishness.

The dirty secret is that the economy is so entangled with the government that any cut in spending will likely result in a recession/depression. No politician wants to have a hand in another recession. Fact is, the government has been propping up the economy since the recession of 08. The big insurance companies and big pharma all are on the government teet due to Medicare/Medicaid and the way they wrote Obamacare. The big box stores make tons off of SNAP and EBT. Tech companies and defense contractors are all tied in via DOD contracts. Thereâs many more examples out there but those are some big ones. If you are going to make significant cuts, you have to address the big dollar programs and thus those big companies will begin to layoff and downsize, thus the market will tank. Probably would need to institute a spending level freeze, pass sunset provisions for Social Security and the other unfunded liabilities, end tax loopholes, and pass reciprocal tariffs to try and get revenues to catch up to expenditures. Once that happens, you can start cutting without major upheaval.
That definitely wonât happen anytime soon. Frankly the political class (the ones with half a brain) know that there is no off ramp. They are going to grift as much as possible from the treasury so that when the dollar begins to tank, they can get out of dodge. Until that time, Iâll vote for the candidate who isnât an incumbent and might at least be a vote against additional spending. Slowest path to the inevitable.

Maybe we can get it inscribed on the new ballroom

I'm not coming around, I've known this before he was elected in 2016. I was hopeful the DOGE efforts by Musk would start the process of reducing fraud and waste, but that hasn't been the case. The government establishment always wants to spend more and we got the Big Shitty Bill. Im still glad Trump is our president and not the old crook or the stupid nasty whore.

Term limits, and get rid of payments for life after a few years of "public service". That alone would fix a whole lot of the problems. Then you could go on and do away with special interest groups who pour our money into the system to get their ways. All of the above while adding the elimination of all private campaign contributions, lobbyist contributions, PACs and Super-Pacs. Presidential candidates can spend $500 million on their campaign. Senators can spend 5 million and House Seats $2 million per election cycle. Zero private contributions and zero lobbyist money. If you're the nominee for your party, you get these amounts in taxpayer funds to run your campaign and it can only be used for campaign expenses. All expenses will be audited every election cycle and no money can go to candidate's family owned consulting groups etc. Caught doing it, 10 yrs in prison for everyone involved, including the candidate. This will eliminate most of the problems in Washington by taking away the current way that politicians are bought and paid for on a bi-annual basis. As an added bonus, it might get us some good candidates that are currently being pushed out and locked out by the entrenched political machine due to lack of sufficient funds to run a campaign against an incumbent with unlimited funds. That way our political representatives can spend more time looking out for us and less time trying to raise money for themselves. Take the money out of politics and maybe we can get some politicians that care about something other than money.

You could get decent people to run, if you put a limit on how much you can spend on a campaign. Make it 50k for president, 30k for senate, and 20 for comgress. Cant spend morw than that, no matter where it comes from. That would change alot of things.

Its unfixable at this point because of weakness of the flesh which ALL humanity suffers from. Even if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, at this moment your Spirit is saved but your flesh is not. Thats why you still make fleshly decisions at times.
We are not supposed to â fix itâ. God is. The Book of Revelations says that one day He will send his Son Jesus back to fix everything. He is the fixer not man.
That being said- we are still to do our best imitation of Jesus while on this planet but at this time our flesh wants to make it tough to do that.
The root of the problem is plain and simple. SIN!!!
We all like to think if we had unlimited money and power we would always use it for good. But would we??? 100% of the time??? Probably not.

For $50K, the presidential candidate would not even be able to visit each state a single time, let alone multiple visits to multiple areas of the states. Nobody would know anything about the candidate or his platform with a $50K limit.

What does it matter? What we think will fix it doesnât matter at all. Griping without a solution doesnât matter because your solutions donât matter because we arenât even in the discussion on whatâs wrong with the country, not to mention how to fix it. Iâve learned recently you got controllables and uncontrollables in life. Worrying or trying to find solutions to the uncontrollables is a waste of time and resources.
Now if you are doing it for entertainment, there is some value in it. We all need some entertainment from time to time. But our solutions or what we thing is broke donât matter at all to the reality of the power to affect it.
