It's never easy and at this point you really want them to go peacefully and quickly.
My mom suffered 5 years longer than the doctors told us she would live and it hurt every time I visited her. It was sometimes hard to keep it together when I was there and had to sit and cry in the truck after I left.

Hate that for you man. My Dad passed at 80. Its been 8 years now. The sting has eased some but I still miss him a lot.

I’m caring for my elderly parents,’my father is in the decline also and it has greatly accelerated the last year.
Prayers sent, it is a very difficult time

Sorry to hear of your dad's troubles. My dad also had Parkinson's and it was tough to see him decline. Prayers up
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

I had to watch my father decline over several months, it was very hard. I'm praying the Lord will show you his mercy in this difficult place.
