Same here. I got sea sick crossing Mobile Bay on a ferry and it was as flat as a dinner plate. Big boats are not in my DNA. I come from many generations of dirt farmers.

I don't do crowds, be it land, sea or air, I just don't do crowds. Therefore I feel more protected than the 'adventurous' bunch. I had my adventures/travels from about age 19 to 40 and I'm over it. There's no way to know how much Covid would have been shut down IF air travel from southeast Asia had been shut down ASAP. But, by design, it wasn't. These giant cruise labs will be the next worldwide incubator/spreader of stuff I don't want.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

I leave for a cruise in 2 weeks. 😂

My wife is wanting us to do one. I never have. I told her it will not be on the EBT cruise line “Carnival”. I’ve seen to many democrats in there letting their true behavior show. I don’t want to be in that environment if I can’t carry.

Daddy used to say that. Especially before grilling. He would clean the hell out of a grill

💩Norovirus has been a problem on cruise ships for past few years. There was a time it was week after week. Don’t know what changed over decades. Wife used to work for Carnival so we went on a few cruises in the 90s early 2000 but we never got sick. Maybe the disinfectant procedures changed or something because we went on 3 or 4 cruises plus parties when they launched new cruise ships and never got sick. It’s weird this Norovirus transmission going on periodically in late 2000s.

The worst people we encountered on those cruises were the Nuevo rich Indians and Chinese and most of them were OK.

We did Alaska before COVID by a couple of years and can't recall seeing any Democrats. If we did they were so inconspicuous that I can't remember them. We did see plenty of Asians like you mentioned. The thing that stood out about them was that they always were masked up and very often in gloves. Like I said, this was well before COVID too. They were obsessive about it. A nice trip but I think if I ever do a big trip like that again, I'd like to see England, Scotland, and Ireland. The reason we did that one was because my mother wanted all her children to go on vacation with her. All her children and grandchildren went except one grandson who had just started a new job. Great scenery to be seen and no matter what I can say I've been to Canada.

We did:

New York
Halifax
Dublin
Belfast
Amsterdam
Brussels
Le Havre
London

I think it was 4 or 5 days across the Atlantic from Halifax to Dublin.

We had a fantastic time and met some great friends.

I don't remember any kids or Amish on the boat.

The key is don’t do cheap cruise. That leaves out 99% of the riff raft and 100% of the knuckle draggers.

I badly wanna do one of those Viking River cruises on the Rhine River in Germany. I hear them advertise on the radio “no children and no casinos” and that appeals to me. Probably very few misbehaving ghetto residents either

A good friend of mine and his wife just got back from a cruise a few weeks ago. They were in a handicap accessible room. Woke from a nap and found bedbugs. Spent the rest of the trip home in a non-handicap room where she had a very hard time moving around. They had to purchase new cloths and bagged the rest up.

I swear as we become more populated we digress on healthy living and healthy environments.

Have you priced one out?

They are cheaper than the ones here in the U.S. The biggest problem with the Rhine cruise is hitting it when there is enough water to travel.
