Not to hijack, but I've been buying them for years, particularly the Edgewood Blvd calls. I'm amazed at the prices being paid for stuff I barely glanced at even five years ago. I've always carried a Tom Gaskins call just because it was handy and would fit in a shirt pocket. Doubt I paid over $10-$15 for one. Now they are well over $100, if you can find one of the originals (Palmdale) in working condition.
Good luck with your search.

Been trying to find 1 myself. Birmingham/Homewood made Lynch box is what I’m looking for.

Wow, I had no idea they brought that kind of money. I've got a Fool Proof and a World Champion from the 60s, but they are both damaged. I carried them both for years long before I had a vest to provide any protection.

They were made originally in Homewood, the the address became Birmingham (both on Edgewood Boulevard). Production then moved to Liberty MS, then to Thomasville. Value depends on where/when it was made. Not sure there's much difference in sound quality. As PCP noted, none of them respond well to being sat on

Ive got an early 50’s World Champion that was a great Uncles. Good condition. A 1960’s foolproof that was an Uncles good condition but does have a bunch of tally marks on it. I’ll take $15,000.00 for both. Pay me now, and you can pick them up when I die. 🤣

Honestly, good luck with finding some.

I have an old Fool Proof that was given to me by someone on this site. $15k wouldn’t even get me to answer a message.

Allen Jenkins bought the call company from ML Lynch way back when. Mossy Oak gamekeepers podcast had him on talking about the history of Lynch calls last week. Good one to listen to.

when one of my uncles i was closest to passed years ago, i was asked by his daughter to come over to his house - she had a few things that he told her he specifically wanted me to have … one thing was an old Lynch box call - he knew i loved turkey hunting

that thing is priceless to me - it’s permanent residence is my coffee table … RIP Uncle Shorty 🙏🏻🦃
