I'll have to give Butler County Sheriff's office there due. They have kept me updated and have acted quickly on anything related to this case. The Montgomery Sheriff deputy pulled over the truck that was stolen and used to steal my stuff several weeks ago. They did not arrest the driver for having the stolen pickup. They didn't even check the inside of it. They called Butler county and the Sheriff here sent 2 deputies up there at 10pm to get the truck and process it. It had meth, guns , weed and other stolen property in it. Then they put out a be on the look out for the truck 3 days later in relation to a robbery that happened 2 weeks earlier.
The Montgomery city pd is even worse. A jeep that was stolen up the road from me a few days earlier kept popping up on the traffic cams for weeks. The pd said it was a low priority and they didn't have anyone to send. ALEA finally pulled it over and arrested the driver for possession of stolen property. I have been told that the mayor and police chief have instructed the officers not to initiate any stops, only if a call comes in can they respond. If they initiate without a call they can be suspended for 3 days. I rarely see Montgomery pd with anyone pulled over anymore. Sheriff’s department and troopers are the only ones I see.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
