If I were in the market for a true hunting e-bike I would look for one without a derailleur and mid drive motor. I’ve owned a Rad Rover and it was a solid and dependable e-bike. I did several upgrades but it still required me to pedal when hills came into play. I upgraded last fall to Mokwheel Onyx ST and it’s a bigger and stronger bike that will pull hills without the need of pedaling. After I bought that bike I started looking into other bike brands.

Faceoff makes a true hunting e-bike so I would give them a hard look if I were in the market. I will give you some sound advice on mud. If the mud is sticky and starts to build up on the tires a e-bike will become useless in short order. The mud will build up to the point the tires will become wedged between frame and front forks. At that point the mud will have to be dug out.
