If Ukraine can make some kind of flashy attack that the Russian population can't ignore, like maybe hitting the May Day parade in broad daylight, it might just prove to be enough to really sway public opinion, but more importantly sway enough of the henchmen oligarchy to rise up and take out Putin.

The problem with that scenario is: Who will step up and take charge and will they be worse or better than Putin?

I used to think Putin was smart, cunning and a pragmatist, but what has unfolded with this war has really changed my mind on that.

What I'm most worried about is Putin using tactical nuclear warheads because he now knows he cannot win. Nothing scarier than a 73 year old man willing to die for his country. The Russian economy is in total collapse. Their main source of foreign currency is oil exports and Ukraine has taken out a lot of that. They may fly a flew drones to Moscow, but just enough to set off the air raid alarms. I think either the Crimean bridge or the remaining naval ships anchored in Novorossiisk would be prime targets and embarrass Putin the most. Their newest FP9 missiles are very good and have the range to hit either target.
