I can't help but admire the Ukrainians for the fight they have given Russia. That and the complete change in modern warfare they implemented that will affect the military for a very long time. There are parallels to the NVA against us in Vietnam. They refused to fight the way we wanted them to and refused to give up. And they won. It wasn't open warfare that collapsed the Soviet Union in 1991. Nor was it when the Russians lost in Afghanistan. Same with the US there. We didn't lose the battles. We just couldn't/wouldn't pay the price to win. Russia is in the same position.
